Tour Summary:
Day 1: Arrive Tashkent – Sightseeing tour
Arrive in Tashkent. You will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel at noon. In the afternoon meet your guide and driver and start sightseeing capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex and Chorsu bazaar, continue to center of Tashkent with Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva
Early morning transfer to local airport. Morning flight to Urgench (1 hour 30 minutes). Arrive in Urgench, transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 minutes). Later proceed for guided walking sightseeing tour of Khiva. Spend a day in UNESCO World Heritage site Itchan-Qala fortress. In Ichan-Qala fortress visit Mukhammad Aminkhan mardrasah, Mukhammad Rakhimkhan madrasah, Kalta Minor, Kunya-Ark, Juma Mosque, Tash-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, minaret of Islam-Khoja. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara (480 km, 8 hrs)
In the morning depart Khiva and drive to Bukhara. The Great Silk Road routed through Bukhara and Khiva once ran through the Kyzylkum Desert, as the present road* does nowadays. En-route stop to enjoy views of Amudarya and the desert. Arrive Bukhara late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Time for rest and overnight at the hotel.

*-some parts of the road are presently being renovated.

Day 4: Bukhara
Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in Old City. The starting point sightseeing tour is Lyabi Hauz Complex, continue to Magoki-Attori mosque, trade domes, Kalyan mosque and minaret and Miri-Arab madrasah, madrasah of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Ark Fortress, Mausoleum of Ismail Samani and Chashma Ayub mausoleum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Bukhara
Start the second day with a visit to summer palace of Bukhara Emirs Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to Bakhouddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr necropolis. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Bukhara - Samarkand (280 km, 4 hrs)
In the morning depart Bukhara and drive to Samarkand. Arrive Samarkand, check in to the hotel. In the afternoon guided sightseeing tour in Samarkand. Visit to the famous Registan Square and Bibi-Khanum mosque. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Samarkand
Continue sightseeing Samarkand. Visit Shakhi-Zinda necropolis, Ulugbek observatory, Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Local bazar. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Samarkand - Tashkent (300 km, 2 hrs 30 min)
Free day in Samarkand, enjoy site of Samarkand on your own, car with a driver at your disposal. Transfer to train station at 16:15, fast-speed train Afrosiyob departs at 17:00. Arrive Tashkent at 19:10, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Tashkent - Kokand - Rishtan - Fergana
Depart Tashkent and drive to the city of Fergana located in Fergana region of Uzbekistan (4 hours). The road goes via a narrow mountain pass Kamchik with beautiful scenery on the way. The first town on the way to Fergana is Kokand, which used to be a center of Kokand khanate in old days. Stop for a sightseeing Kokand: visit the Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami mosque, Kamol-Kazy madrasah, Damai-Shakhon and Madari-khan necropolis. Continue to Rishtan to visit pottery workshops in Rishtan. Continue driving to Fergana. Arrive Fergana, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Fergana-Andijan-Margilan-Fergana
Today start the day with a trip to Andijan via Quva where you can see ruins of an old city Quva. In Andijan visit Bobur museum, Juma mosque central bazaar and Bobur park. Continue to Margilan to visit silk fabric making factory. Return to Fergana. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Fergana - border point - Osh
In the morning transfer to Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan border point. Crossing the border. Customs and passport control check on both Uzbek and Kyrgyz side of the border. Meet your local Kyrgyz drive and guide. Transfer to Osh, accommodation in a guest house. Sightseeing Osh, town with 3000 years history. Overnight in a guest house.

Day 12: Osh - Bishkek
Early morning flight to Bishkek. Arrival to Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing Bishkek includes visits of Oak Park, Central Square, Philharmonic, State History Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Bishkek - Issyk-Kul (260 km, 4 hrs)
In the morning transfer to the Issyk-Kul lake. On the way stop to see the Burana tower, which is left from the ancient city of Balasagyn (11th-13th cent.). Continue driving to Issyk-Kul. Arrival in Issyk-Kul, accommodation in a hotel at the North coast of the Issyk-Kul Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Issyk-Kul - Bishkek
In the morning trip to Cholpon-Ata, where visitors can see ancient rock inscriptions and also visit Ethnographical Museum. In the afternoon return to Bishkek. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Bishkek - end of the tour
Transfer to the airport, departure.

Prices include, Uzbekistan part:
  • All transfers: 1-2 travellers by sedan type car; 3-6 travellers by van type car; 7 to 11+1 travellers by 20 seat bus, 13 travellers and more by 45 seat coach;
  • Accommodation based on double room sharing, breakfasts included;
